 ABOUT ME

THE BRAND
I started designing and making jewellery at a young age, exploring mixed materials, colours, textures and geometric forms. Although maintaining my original style, my work has naturally progressed.  My love of 20th Century Abstract Art has inspired my recent work.   Bold colour, shape and line feature heavily in my designs whilst being sensitive to the delicate. I use traditional goldsmithing methods and make all of my pieces by hand at my studio in Ross-on-Wye. My aim is to create original, affordable statement pieces that can be worn every day.

MY STORY

I trained to be a jeweller at The School of Jewellery in Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter. After graduating, I worked as a Goldsmith at an exclusive Designer Jewellers in Nottingham.

I later moved back to the Forest of Dean where I set up my own jewellery business. I won several awards for my designs and exhibited in galleries all over The South West of England.

After having two children and a teaching career, I decided in the first lockdown of 2020 it was time to  reinvigorate my first love of professional jewellery design. Grace and May Designer Jewellery was born.

All of jewellery is made by hand and no two pieces are the same.
